Our laboratory concrete 3D printers are designed for research labs, universities and R&D centers working with mortars, clays and mineral‑based materials. Each concrete 3D printer supports 1K and 2K mortar printing, enabling precise testing of concrete mixtures with aggregates, fiber‑reinforced formulations and advanced mineral materials. The system is optimized for small‑scale concrete 3D printing, material science experiments and construction 3D printing research.
Key Features of the Concrete 3D Printer Series
- Fully Customizable Build Volume for Research Applications The system supports a wide range of build volumes tailored to laboratory concrete 3D printing, from compact setups for universities to larger configurations for advanced R&D. Printing dimensions can vary from 50 to 300 cm in different axes, enabling experiments in small‑scale concrete 3D printing and material science.
- High‑Precision Extrusion Core for Mortars and Mineral Materials A mixing print head processes one‑ or two‑component formulations (1K/2K mortar printing), including cement with accelerator. The head ensures homogeneous mixing and stable flow control up to 3 L/min, supporting fine‑aggregate mortar mixes (recommended ≤3 mm, max 6 mm). The system achieves printing speeds up to 150 mm/s, suitable for research on 3D printed concrete and mineral‑based materials.
- Industrial‑Grade Reliability and Control Architecture The printer is built on hardened stainless‑steel linear guides, industrial-grade electronics Duet 6HC. Operation is managed through a 7‑inch touchscreen and a remote web interface (Ethernet).
- Compatibility with Laboratory Pump Systems The platform integrates with various material delivery systems, including an automated concrete pump (capacity 55L, flow up to 10 L/min and a 5 L ram extruder. This enables controlled testing of mortar and cementitious materials in laboratory concrete 3D printing workflows.
